New Certification Available Beginning January and September 2016
Louisville, KY (PRWEB)
NeuroRecovery Training Institute (NeuroRTI) is pleased to announce they will be offering a Certification in Neurological Clinical Practice, with the program set to begin January 11, 2016.
The Neurologic Clinical Practice Certificate is a 7-month Postprofessional program committed to developing evidence-based physical therapist practitioners and clinician scientists around the world looking to advance clinical practice techniques and decision making for the management of patients with neurological disorders. Graduates will be positioned to rapidly integrate the knowledge they gain into their clinical practice and pursue board certification.
“We are thrilled to be offering the Certification in Neurological Clinical Practice and we look forward to kicking off the program with our first class in January,” said Program Director Kim Atkinson, PT, NCS. “Case examples, both live and video, will promote discussion of clinical decision-making, progression, and tailoring the environment to be developmentally-appropriate and successful.”
Course work includes study under leaders in neurological and manual therapy clinical practice including Dr. Mary Thigpen, Dr. Jane Sullivan, Dr. Mary Massery, Dr. Tim Flynn, Dr. Michael Furtado, and Dr. Jennifer Fernandez, among others. The curricula is designed for clinicians seeking board certification that prefer not to complete a full blown residency requiring mentorship hours or those who simply want to provide better evidence-based patient care.
