The Neurologic Clinical Practice Certificate is a 7-month Postprofessional program committed to developing evidence-based physical therapist practitioners and clinician scientists around the world looking to advance clinical practice techniques and decision making for the management of patients with neurological disorders. Graduates will be positioned to rapidly integrate that knowledge into their clinical practice and to pursue board certification.
“We are thrilled to be offering the Certification in Neurological Clinical Practice,” said Program Director Kim Atkinson, PT, NCS. “Case examples, both live and video, will promote discussion of clinical decision-making, progression, and tailoring the environment to be successful.”
Course work includes study under leaders in neurological and manual therapy clinical practice including Dr. Mary Thigpen, Dr. Jane Sullivan, Dr. Tim Flynn, Dr. Michael Furtado, and Dr. Jennifer Fernandez, among others. Cohorts will begin in January and October of 2016. For admission requirements, curricula details, and total hours and credits, please visit http://www.neurorti.com.
